No. RealTells gives an AI-generated opinion based only on the photos you provide. It is not a physical inspection, not a certificate from the brand and not a guarantee. Brands do not take part in our checks.
The analysis is done by software: several AI models examine your photos and their findings are combined into one report. The report always says it was generated by AI.
We will publish our methodology and measured accuracy — including how often a check ends as Inconclusive — before we start selling reports. We won't quote accuracy numbers we haven't measured.
If the photos don't allow a confident opinion, the report says so and explains which photos would help. Credits for an Inconclusive report are returned automatically.
It depends on the item. Typically: the whole item from the front and back, the logo or heat stamp, the serial or date code, hardware and zippers, stitching, the lining and any labels. RealTells guides you step by step.
